Angle, Christensen, Zucknieovich set American record Published in Straus Newspapers - 10/0704 Mike Angle, Liz Christensen and Jimmy Zucknieovich set a new American Bowling Congress three-game team series of 2408 pins for a mixed team of two men an a women and tied for the third highest single game of 858 with the record being 868 pins. Angle posted his first-ever 800 series with games of 255-300-267 in the First Hope Classic at Sparta Lanes and has been selected the Villa Capri II/Sparta Lanes Bowler of the Week. Christensen, the manager of Sparta Lanes, put together games of 257-259-234 to accumulate a three-game pin count of 750 that earned the Newton resident First Hope Classic Female Bowler of the Week accolades. Zucknieovich, who is emplyed by Sparta Lanes, finished with a three-game series of 838 coming on games of 279-299-258 to earn First Hope Classic Male Bowler of the Week honors. The trio compete on the Sparta Lanes team in the First Hope Classic and are sponsored by Harvey Ely, the owner of Sparta Lanes. Tony Steele was chosen the Villa Capri II/Sparta Lanes Bowler of the Week. Competing in the Sparta Mixers League, Steele put together games of 299-259-290 to finish with a sparkling series of 848.
